Pawnbroker arrested in accepting stolen property

Bavet town, Svay Rieng Province: A 55-year-old pawnbroker was arrested by Svay Rieng district police. The man was suspected of relationship with accepting stolen property on Saturday last week after the police officers received a complaint letter from a man, who claimed his luxurious car was stolen and they later found the luxurious car at the arrested’s house. The accused man claimed at police inspection that a Vietnamese nation man pawned the luxurious car in the price of 30 000 USD last month. The cop said that the pawnbroker was accused of receiving stolen property. However, they are looking for a Vietnamese escapee, who was accused of stealing the vehicle.
