People from 7 families declare the land title

Koh Kong: Poeple from 7 families in Smach Meanchey commune who are living on the land that is in controversy with department of social affair declared that they had the legal land title. Those people said that they had lived in the controversial land since 1993 and had land title recognised by district authority. At that time nothing happened. However, in 2000 when the land price increases, department of social affair said that the land belonged to the department.
