Phnom Penh Municipal Court Calls Sam Rainsy

Phnom Penh: Phnom Penh Municipal Court issued a warrant to call the opposition leader Sam Rainsy into the court on 22 May 2008 to clarify the Deputy prime Minister and foreign affairs minister Hor Namhong’s suit which charged Sam Rainsy with disinformation and defamation, said Phnom Penh Municipal court officer. Sam Rainsy said on Wednesday that he had not received the warrant yet. “I will discuss with SRP’s lawyers to make a decision whether I appear at the court or not”, said Sam Rainsy.
