Pictures of a New Place of Young Precious Stones in Takeo Province

The previous issue we already heard the precious stones article said about people has dug for the stones on the three mountains namely Phnom Morhasey, Phnom Tambang Samlor, and Phnom Toteng. It locates in Takeo province. On the mountain some of the gem hunters carry pitch-axe and the others handed other tools with expecting that they will find stones today. They speak without stopping their digging. Here are the pictures of the stone place in Toteng Mountain where we put them in order. Let’s see together.
1. A road that we can go to Kirivong district connection from the national road numbers two.
2. A small shrine dedicated to the spirits where we can go to the gem place next to Traumong pagoda.
3. It is a road at the mountain in a rainy season.
4. The gem hunters are ridding on the horse cart to find the stones on the mountain.

10. The gem hunter is repacking the food that his five had packed from their home since the early morning.
11. Groups of the gem hunters are discussing about the stones where they will go to dig.
12. After discussing, the gem hunters go to different places, though it’s hard to clamp up the mountain.
13. Now the gem hunter found his place and prepared his tools before digging.
14. This is a hole of the gem which has about five meters long.
15. The gem hunters are seeing the gem in the bottom of the hole.
16. Some stones are small but some are big side and some of the big stones are from 10 to 30 kilograms of one stone.
