Police Arrest the Schoolboy Kidnapper

Phnom Penh: The schoolboy kidnapper, who killed his hostage on December 8, was apprehended by Cham Kar Mon district police at 5:30pm on 13 December 2007 in Eussey Keo district’s Tuol Sang Ke commune. The criminal known as Chi Han Si So Dara, 24, lives in Kbal Chroy villge, Prek Ek commune, Kandal province’s Kien Svay district. The crook confessed that he had taken 13-year-old schoolboy, Kieu Maly Panha Rang hostage because he did not have money. He murdered his hostage accidentally by strangling him. He just wanted to make him unconscious to take time to call his father for money.
