Police at Dong Kra Lor gate charges Visa fee over limited

Steoug Treng Province: The police at Dong Kra Lor gate, the border between Cambodia and Laos, have charged the Visa fee over limited, said a government officer. In formality, the fee for issuing Visa is only $20 for each tourist and $25 for business affair. However, the police have charged from them $24 in order to get in Cambodia. Every month there are about 1,000 visitors arrive in Cambodia from Laos, said four tour companies in Steoug Treng province. Yet, a police at the gate has confirmed that the over amount of 2 or 4 dollars is not seriously strict and only 300 tourists have crossed this gate from Laos. We just use this extra amount to fill our stomach only, added the police.
