Police Burn Down 8 Pigs

Kampongcham Province: Eight Pigs, which illegally imported from Vietnam, were burned down by Me Muth district police force working with the officers o f district agriculture office on 22 October 2007, said Am Kosol, Me Muth district police chief. He also added the police on Saturday arrested seven merchants, who imported pigs from Vietnam by their own motorbikes at 11:30pm on 20 October across Me Muth district’s Roung commune. Illegal importing pigs makes the local ones cheap in price and those sometimes contain diseases.
