Police Detain a Telephone Picker

Phnom Penh: A telephone picker was detained by police after he had gone to a phone store in Kandal market and grabbed the phones on 10 December 2007 in Phnom Penh’s Doun Penh district. The grabber known as Say Dy, 19, comes from Kampongcham province. The 29-year-old telephone seller, Sou Daroeth, said that Say Dy came to his store to buy phone when he gave him two telephones to have a look. Then he grabbed them and wanted to flee, but police arrested him immediately.
