Police Detains Woman Trafficker

Banteaymeanchay Province: A woman who was related in human trafficking was detained by Ou Chrov police on July 25, 2007. The victim, who is 18 and 22 years old, said that they met a woman known as Pum Oun, 34 when they were on the way from Thailand after Thai police sent them back. And then the woman asked them to stay with her in a guest house. They were with her for three days, then she introduced them to another woman known as Mom, 30. The second lady promised to look for job for them in Thailand.
In Thailand, Mom continued sending them to a Thai woman who drove them to work place, but after that they were forced to work as the prostitutes at a place in Thailand for a few days and then they went out secretly because they wanted Thai police to arrest them sending back to Cambodia. When they arrived in Cambodia, they file a complaint with CWCC organization. The CWCC organization staff asked them to file the complaint with the police to arrest the criminal. And then police sought and arrested her.
