Police Gather Vagrants in PP

Phnom Penh: After an announcement of the Phnom Penh Authority, the professional police three days in row gathered some vagrants on the public place in Phnom Penh and sent them to the department of the social affair, offering education and profession. The task started from July 20. So far as many as 64 vagrants, who most of them are beggars, the unemployed, prostitutes, and glue boys, were already sent to the department. The authorities accused these kinds of people of causing anarchy as well as disorder in the society. According to a report of the department of Phnom Penh social affair, 295 vagrants were gathered from the early 2009 to July 23.
