Police Nab a Chinese Man for Transporting Firecrackers

Kampot province: Kampongbay district police working with provincial police stopped a gunpowder containing car at 8:30 A.M. on Saturday after they had received the information from the locals. Police said that a 24-year-old Chinese man and his translator were detained for illegal transporting about 52 cases of fireworks and firecracker to sell in Muoy Ossaphea village, Kampongbay district’s Kampongkandal commune. To maintain social security, the using explosive is prohibited, police added. Police sent them to provincial court to sentence.
