Poor Citizens Sue their Village Chief

Pursat Province: As many as 186 villagers of Thmey village, Tnout Chum commune, Kror Kor district sued their village chief on Oct 30. The village chief Suong Saroeurn was accused of committing unfairness. Recently, Asia development Bank (ADB) has distributed presents to the poor, handicaps, and widows in Peusat province. The village chief had selected his relatives and the well off people, not the poor, according to the complaint with thump prints. The other villagers in Peusat province have also complained about the present distribution.
