Pregnant woman, her young daughters die in Capital fire

Phnom Penh: A 35-year-old pregnant woman and her two young daughters died in a fire on early Sunday morning in II Depo Market, Phnom Penh’s Daun Pen district. Police said the woman Hem Chanthon, her two daughters Neng Panha, 4, and Neng Niza, 10, were sleeping at their home when the fire happened and her husband was eating out with his friends to welcome the new year. Police initially concluded that the electrical malfunction was behind the blaze. (DAP)
