President Khmer Mchas Sruk Promises to Improve Its Profession

Phnom Penh: Hang Chakra, the president of Khmer Mchas Sruk Newspaper, who was sentenced one year into prison for the charging of disinformation and incitement, promised to improve his news paper’s profession after he is free from the prison, the board of the CLub of Cambodian Journalists, after they had visited him in the prison on Wednesday last week. Hang Chakra will continue his career as the journalist after he is released from the jail. He acknowledged that his article, which caused the problem, leading him to be in the jail, was not correct in some points. This is because of the lacking of careful checking, the board added.
