Reporter and his Son’s Corpse Cremated

Phnom Penh: The corpses of journalist Khim Sambo, 47, and his 21-year-old son were cremated on Sunday at Tuol Tompong pagoda, Phnom Penh City. The two were killed after they had left the Olympic stadium on Friday evening. The Moneakseka Khmer reporter Sambo was shot two times in the stomach, dying immediately at the scene, and his son was nasty wounded in his back, dying at calemette hospital at the same day. The two murderers are under the arrest. Opposition leader Samrainsy regarded such a killing as the political intimidation.
