Reporter: Meng Keopechda's husband, Muoung Khim, splashed fish-sauce

Phnom Penh: Reporter of Angkor and Dara magazine accused a pop singer, Meng Keopechda's husband, Muong Khim for splashing fish-sauce on his face on 7th April 2007 in Phkar Chhuok restaurant along Monivong Boulevard.The reporter who was splashed was San Bunthoeun, 32. He said that what made Meng Keopechda and her husband angry was an article implied that Meng Keopechda was jealous with others. He added that after blaming him in the restaurant for a while, Muong Khim splashed fish-sauce on his face.
When asking about the incident, Meng Keopechda said that nothing happened, she did not know anything. Similar to his wife, Muong Khim said that he forgot what had happened, and added that fish-sauce is for eating, it is a waste to splash on people.
San Bunthoeun said that he had a voice record of what had happened. He wanted a formal apology from the couple if not they will meet at the court.
