After staying more than 6 months abroad, the retied king Norodom Sihanouk and Queen Monineath came back to Cambodia unexpectedly on Sunday afternoon at the Phnom Penh International Airport to join coming Khmer New Year with his lovely Cambodians.

King Norodom Sihamoni, The king’s son, Prime Minister Hun Sen, and many superior officials were present there to welcome warmly the king’s arrival.   
The king left Cambodia on 02-09-06 to treat his diseases in Beijing, China.
