Rice Buyer Robbed, 14 Damloeng of Gold lost

Kampot Province: At least 14 Damloeng of gold, 30 million riel, and a telephone lost in a robbery that happened at around 7:25 p.m. on Thursday in Talang village, Banteay Meas district’s Tnout Chung Srorng commune. A woman victim got seriously injured and was sent to Vietnam to get treatment. According to Banteay Meas district military police Siek Sarat, six men with 4 guns, four wore underwear, raided a family. The woman Svay Kimcheang, 30, tried to run away in the robbery, but she was shot, breaking her thigh. The local police are working hard to search for the robbers to bring them to justice.
