Rob at Traffic Light Spot with Police nearby

December 10, 07: Armed thieves robbed a woman and took her Viva motorbike while she stopped at Monivong and Charl Degorls corner spot to wait for blue light with traffic police standing nearby. The thief occurred at about 6:10pm in Sangkat Psa Thmei II, Khan Daun Penh, and Phnom Penh.
The victim known as Ms. Sem Chhun Ieng, 22, is a student. She said that while she was waiting for blue light, two unidentified men riding on C125 motorcycle to pause by her. Suddenly the man at the back jumped down to punch her once and shout “don’t take hand in my couple” and he drove the victim’s motor away. People at the scene claimed that after the robber drove away, police started to contact each other on walky-talky.
