six commit suicide during Khmer New Year

Kampong Thom Province: At least six people committed suicide during the Khmer New Year this year in Kampong Thom province, according to report from eight districts and towns in the province. The report said that from 12 to 18 April, six killed themselves by hanging. This not included the death toll of traffic accidents. The majority of Cambodian people believe that Tire Year is a cruel one because tire eats fresh meat as its food. Raksmey Kampuchea Daily Newspaper
