Six Prisoners Break Out of Jail

Rattanakiri Province: Six prisoners broke out of jail on Thursday morning in Ban Lung district’s Laban Siek commune. Around one o’clock in the morning of 31 Jan 2008, there was a jailbreak when the jailer was careless, police officer said. Until the 2nd of February, none of the six was rearrested. The prison was run-down, the police officer added.
