Six-year-old girl killed for a pair of earrings

Kandal Province: A six-year-old girl was killed and robbed of a pair of earrings at 4:15pm on 22 November 2007 in Boeng Spean village, Sa Ang district’s Svay Brateal commune. The victim known as Thung Sror Moch Kror Horm and the perpetrator, Kun Mtes, 12, live in the same village, said Man Pich, Sa Ang district police chief. The young criminal confessed that she broken the victim’s neck and pulled her into the water, he added.
