South Korea Plans to Preserve Angkor Forest

Phnom Penh: South Korea has plan to plant trees and preserve forest in Angkor temple areas. Meeting with Prime Minister Hun Sen on Tuesday at the Foreign affairs and international cooperation ministry, Ha Yong Je, forestry service officer of South Korea, informed the PM that long war had destroyed S K’s forest seriously, but after the war his country had rehabilitated it, and the forest rehabilitation has made the world acknowledge its experiences. The PM welcomed the good project, which he believed that it would help Cambodia restore the forest.
