Friday, September 05, 2008
Phnom Penh: The opposition leader Sam Rainsy on Tuesday sent a letter to King Norodom Sihamoni to ask for separated oath on 25 Sep 2008 for his law makers while the law makers from CPP will take an oath in the Royal Palace on 24 Sep 2008. Those from SRP will not take the oath together with CPP’s law makers to express their grievances against the result of the 2008 national election on 27 July, which violated the voters’ right and vote defraud, the letter said. The fourth mandate, Sam Rainsy Party gets 26 seats while CPP receives 90 seats, and HRP 3 seats.
