SRP Member Complaints against Gift Sharing

Peusat Province: Samrainsy Party Chief of Peusat province, Heng Chanto said that Peusat governor Chay Sareth had given gifts to around 700 people in Luong pagoda, but the governor dismissed the complaint, saying that he has just joined a Buddhist ceremony in the pagoda. According to the NEC’s law, all political parties cannot offer any present in order to buy people off during the campaign. One of the participants who asked not to be named said that she got a Sarung at a time of joining the ceremony in the pagoda.
