Student Drowns in Kandal

Kandal Province: A 21-year-old man drowned on Sunday at 2:20 pm when he was joining a wedding in Prek Ung Pang village, Saang district’s Toek Vel commune. According to his friend, the victim and four other friends went swimming in Basak river after eating lunch. He swam near the bank alone because he was not good at swimming and their friends swam to middle of the river. The victim was missed from the wedding and then their friends tried to look for him in the water. However, it was too late because he already died. The deceased was a student in a university in Phno Penh.
