Student Sent to Prison for Attacking Police with Helmet

Phnom Penh: A university student, who was confirmed having mental problem, was sentenced to eight months in prison for hitting traffic police with a helmet when that police tried to have his motorbike checked. The student was also demanded to pay around 250 US dollar compensation to one of the policemen known as Choem Kunthy. The student known as Sary Vanda, 24, lives in Chamkar Mon district’s Beng Trabeng commune.
