Thai Armed Troops Menace Khmer Villagers

Orddar Meanchay Province: A group of 30 Thai armed soldiers went into Khmer Territory on Wednesday in Thmor Doung village, Banteay Ompil district’s Kork Mon commune and destroyed the villagers’ 27 banana trees. Cambodian troops, who did not meet them there, arrived when they had left the village. Thai troops said nothing when the villagers were trying to intervene them and during Phum Ben day two houses also were pulled down, one of the villagers said.
