Thai Paratroop Shoots a Khmer Teenager

Preah Vihear Province: A 16-year-old Cambodian worker got serious injured in his head after a Thai paratroop opened fire on him when waiting for his boss taking him to a rice field in Sras Keo province, Thailand. The victim, who was sent back to Cambodia by Thai authorities, had crossed the Thai-Cambodian border into Thailand to work as a rice cutter at 11:30 am on Oct 27. The injured named Se Tung Khai was living in Chom Nar Krom commune, Stong district, Kampongthom province. The victim is in serious condition in Siem Reap town, according to Ou Chrov district deputy police chief Son Savuth on Wednesday.
