Thai PM Cancels his Visit to Cambodia

Phnom Penh: During the serious political crisis, which have caused violence, in his country, Thai Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat, who is the younger brother-in-law of former Thai PM Thaksin Sinawatra, who was ousted, decided to cancel his visit to Cambodia on Monday. Nonetheless, as the planning, Thai deputy PM and the minister of foreign affairs ministry will still come to Cambodia instead to meet with Khmer foreign affairs minister Hor Namhong to continue discussing the border dispute, said foreign affair minister spokesperson Sin Bunthoeurn. Thai consul officer to Cambodia also confirmed on Friday afternoon that the PM has delayed his visit.
