Thai Soldiers Open Fire on Khmer People

Battambang Province: Five Cambodian people were opened fire by Thai black uniform troops at 3 p.m. on 5 Sept 2008 while they were walking to take a pile of wood in the border area. One of the five victims, who were shot with an AK, was seriously injured in the stomach and went missing, whether he died or survive and the other ones making a way, an official said on Saturday. The severe wounded man known as Mon Meut, 37, live in Battambang province’s Somlot district. Border Relation soldier are working on the case.
