Thai Soldiers Still Lock Ta Moan Temple

Ouddormeanchay Province: Thai troops have locked Ta Moan Thom temple although Khmer authorities had asked them to unlock it. General Pov Heng on Monday said that he and other officers suggested that Thai troops unlock Ta Moan Thom temple in order that citizens can access the temple regularly. Thai side had promised to inform the suggestion to their commanders but until the 16th September, Thai troops do not unlock the temple as well as there is no any reply from them. The situation there is stable after the troops were withdrawn proximately 400 meters from the temple, he added.
