Thai Troops at Preah Vihea Pagoda Afraid after the Firing

Preah Vihea Temple: Ten Thai soldiers, who have stationed in Preah Vihea pagoda, are strongly afraid to stay there after their armed comrades had opened the fire on Khmer troops at Phnom Trop, said Cambodian troop officer who also have stayed in the pagoda. The ten were attempted to leave the pagoda since the attack happened on Thursday afternoon because they do worry about their own security, he added. However, Cambodian solders do not have any problem or bother them. According to the agreement, Cambodian and Thai side have each ten troops in the pagoda.
