Thai Troops Open Fire on Khmer Soldiers

Preah Vihea Province: Thai troops opened fire on Cambodian soldiers shortly after they (Thai troops) were asked to withdraw from Khmer territory, which had been invaded Phnom Trop near in the vicinity of Preah Vihear Temple. According to the source, the event happened in the afternoon of Friday. The two side troops were injured because Khmer armed troops fired back to prevent themselves from the Thai troops’ attack. According to the source from Thai side, Thai troops just fired into the air to threaten Khmer soldiers.
