Thai Troops Pull Khmer Citizens’ Houses Down

Ouddormeanchay Province: Besides invading as well as stationing at the vicinity of Khmer temples, Preah Vihea, Ta Moan Thom, Ta Moan Toch and Ta Krorbey, around 30 armed Thai soldiers menaced Khmer citizens by pulling their houses down at 6: 10 p.m. on Monday this week in Chhoeung Phnom village, Anglong Veng district’s Trapang Prey commune about 70 meters from the border, according to the report from Anglong Veng district. Three houses were demolished after those troops had threatened the houses owners to leave their homes. According to those victims, Thai soldiers also pointed the gun at a Cambodian troop when he was attempted to intervene them from moving their houses and prevented a journalist from taking the pictures of the event.
