Friday, May 18, 2007
On Wednesday wildlife conservation groups announced that one nesting ground was found in Kratie province along the Mekong River and it is one of the nesting grounds all over the world.
It is in north about 50 km of Kratie town that nesting ground was found. The turtle is the freshwater species and one of the biggest ones. It is about two meters in length; is 50 kg in weight.
A teenager turtle can hold its breath for until twelve hours. It is a good sign that nesting ground and eggs appear again.
