Two Cambodian Troops Die, Injured at Veal Intry Firing

Preah Vihear Province: At least two Cambodian troops died, and injured in a firing between Thai and Cambodian troops at Veal Intry at 2:15 p.m on Wednesday, according to foreign minister Hor Namhong statement. Thai troops had tried to inter Khmer territory and Cambodian soldiers protected them from invading, so the firing occurred. The number of Thai troops, who died or injured, was unclear. Deputy Hor Namhong considered it as just a small-scale firing.
