Two Men Handgun-Smashed By Retire Police Officers

Because of drunken argument, four armed, off-duty police officers were arrested in Kandal province for pistol-whipping two men on the first day of Khmer New Year 14-April-2007
The four armed, off-duty police officers who were the perpetrators known Churo Samnet, 24, Cheat Sokeal, 24, Lim Rinet, 27, and Keo Kompheak Tithiya, 25, paid $1,500 compensation to the victims before being released with out charge on Wednesday. Four perpetrators can be municipal or Interior Ministry police officers.
