Phnom Penh: A 25-year-old man died on Monday after two policemen attacked him with their handcuff in an argument at wedding party in Kandal steung district, Kandal province. A 47-year-old woman, mother of the dead man, said a generator stopped working while his son and the other participants were dancing at the wedding. Meanwhile, his son cursed a generator owner louder. Soon after, the two policemen banned him from cursing, leading to a scuffle. The police walked beating him to his mother’s home where he died. However, Kandal steung district deputy police chief said that the man died of fainting.
