Two Students Sentenced for Snatching

Phnom Penh: The traffic police of officers working with Tonle Basak station police arrested two students on Wednesday morning near Kbal Thnorl Cirle in Chomkamon district after they snatched a hand bag from a 43-year-old woman on a motor taxi. Kim Sutha, 20 and Srun Many, 15 live in Dap Mien village and commune, Kandal province’s Takhmao district. The traffic police officer said that the two snatchers threw the hand bag away when they were surrounded by police. In front of police, they confessed that they snatched the bag. After questioning they were sent to the court and the bag was returned to the victim.
