US embassy: Human Rights in Cambodia improving

Battam Bang Province: Mr. Joceph A.Mussomeli, US ambassador in Cambodia, said “Human right process in Cambodia is moving toward perfect state.” On 12 December, in an inauguration ceremony of American Corner Cambodia Center, he said that even the US human right procedure is not yet perfect too, but it is like Cambodian developing to the perfect. “Generally, human right matter in Cambodia is always threatened prior to election, but I strongly expect that this election process will be held with free and fair. Free and Fair are high standard words; hence, we have to carefully consider before we mention them." ,added Mr. Joceph.
