Using Fingers to Rob Motor Taxi Driver

Kompongcham Province: A man, who had used his fingers as the gun to rob a motor taxi driver, was accused of robbery in Koh Sotoen district’s Prek Tanorng commune, Kompongcham Provine,
The unsuccessful robbery occurred at 10:50 am on 18 June 2007. The crook known as Yann Phoen, 38, lives in Bantaymeanchay province’s Au Chrauv district and the victim Suth Vuthy, 41, lives in Tbong Khmom district’s Taunleboeth commune, Kompongcham Province, penal police said.
The accused man had hired the motor taxi from Kompongcham town to Prey Veng Peovince’s Sithor Kandal district. As soon as he arrived at Dorbpi Village, Prek Tanorng commune, Koh Sotoen district, the criminal had asked the motor driver to stop and robbed him by using his fingers as the gun. When the victim learnt that the criminal did not have the gun, he punched the criminal two times in his face. Then he shouted for help and gave the criminal to the police.
