Veachar Khmer Newspaper Chief Arrested

Kampongspeu Provine: Yon Nhor, Veachar Khmer Newspaper Chief, was arrested for damaging the Kampuchea Thmei Daily Newspaper agency’s car mirror on 29 Jan 2008 in front of Veachar Khmer Newspaper Office, in Ou Ral district’s Trapang Chou commune. Kampuchea Thmei Daily Newspaper agency took the picture of Veachar Khmer Newspaper Office. Meanwhile, Yon Nhor saw and tried to take the camera from him. Yon Nhor said that he did not damage the mirror. It broke when they had a scuffle.
