Vietnam Agrees to Sell Electricity to Cambodia

Phnom Penh: Response to the Prime Minister Hun Sen Request, Vietnam agreed to sell its electricity to Cambodia, using in Phnom Penh City in the price of 200 Riel per kilowatt. Besides, Cambodian people living along the Vietnamese and Cambodian border can use the water in Vietnamese territory. More than that Vietnamese side promised to speed the construction of the hydroelectricity at Sek San River, the foreign affairs minister and international cooperation Hor Namhong said at a press conference at the Phnom Penh International Airport after arriving from the visiting Vietnam with the Prime Minister Hun Sen.
