Villagers Sue Electricity and Ice Enterprise

SIhanoukville: More than 60 villagers in Preynub district’s Veal Renh commune sued a electricity company in Veal Renh market for having effecting on their living and pouring waste into their fields. The waste has killed villagers’ rice trees. A company owner known as Thy had a lot of big generators, which worked 24 hours as well as a huge ice enterprise, a villager representative said. He added that the black smock from the generators badly affected the villagers’ health and people could not sleep due to the generators’ loud voice.
