Vivatino’s Factory Workers Ask for Changing the Government

There were about 1.254 Vitatino’s factory workers that located in Trapang Chhok village, Teouk Thla commune, Reuseykeo district stroked to ask for changing the government because the factory workers thought the government violated the their freedom right. In the striking, the workers asked for 6 working conditions.
The group of strikers said that Mr. Kong Yeuchheng, a Vivatino factory administrative chief violated on their freedom right. Kong Yeuchheng tried fire the men workers and not followed the labor law, not gave the salary. In addition, when the workers were sick, Kong Yeuccheng didn’t not allow to stop working.
The group of workers added that during this Khmer New Year, the workers asked for stopping one day before the New Year come 13-April and starting to work one day after Khmer New Year finished 18-April-2007, but the Vivatino factory administrative chief didn’t not permit.
The strikers also asked for changing the factory guards because the guards always spoke with sarcastic and threaten works to the workers. So many workers wanted the company allowed them to stop when the workers were ill and added some hot and cold jar waters. And the workers also asked for negotiation with the company director involving with these.
