Wife Elopes, Husband Commits Suicide

Battambang Province: A Battambang man killed himself by hanging on Saturday, April after he knew that his wife had eloped and had another man in Prea Vihear Province. The man known as Phan Sopeap, 48, hung in his room of his house, Bor Vel district’s Kdol commune, Bor Vel district police chief Ou Proeurng said. The man was resentful of his wife who had a new husband, therefore he committed suicide, the victim’s neighbor said.
