Women Arrested for Robbery

Phnom Penh: The Phnom Penh Municipal Court on Wednesday temporarily detained three women, 20, 26 and 32 year-old, accusing them of committing robbery in the Royal palace. Daun Penh district police said that the three women worked together to steal a hand bag from a 28-year-old German woman while she was visiting the Royal Palace with her boyfriend. The victim reported to the nearby police after losing her handbag. Police found the three suspects with the lost hand bag, when they hid in a bathroom and sent them to police station, where they confessed to the crime.
